The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) 2026 marked an exciting five days for Glancy Fawcett, filled with exclusive events, meaningful conversations and new connections in the heart of South Florida's yachting community.

As one of the most significant events in the superyacht calendar, FLIBS brings together yacht owners, designers, shipyards, brokers, management companies, captains and crew, alongside leading names from across the industry.

For our team, the show provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with long-standing clients and partners, establish new relationships and discover the latest launches and developments shaping the world of superyachting.

This year's show was particularly special for Glancy Fawcett, taking place just moments from our newly opened US showroom at the prestigious Pier Sixty-Six Marina.

With FLIBS on our doorstep, we were delighted to welcome clients, partners and industry friends, both familiar and new, into our showroom throughout the week. Providing a private and comfortable setting for meetings and events, the showroom offered guests the opportunity to experience the world of Glancy Fawcett firsthand, exploring an exquisite selection of tableware, crystal, linens, cutlery and decorative accessories from leading luxury brands and artisans around the world.

Beyond the show itself, our showroom became a hub of activity, hosting exclusive receptions and providing a welcoming space to connect with the wider yachting community.

One of the highlights of FLIBS 2026 was the opportunity to showcase Designed by GF, our exclusive in-house design service.

To celebrate the occasion, we hosted a special reception at our Fort Lauderdale showroom, welcoming clients, partners and industry friends for an afternoon dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship and exceptional design.

Guests were among the first to discover a selection of previously unseen designs, presented alongside bespoke porcelain, crystal, cutlery, linens and decorative accessories. Developed by our dedicated in-house Product Design Team, Designed by GF combines creative expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to create distinctive pieces tailored to individual projects.

From initial concepts and sketches through to prototyping and production, our team works closely with master artisans to bring each design to life. The reception provided a wonderful opportunity to share the inspiration and craftsmanship behind the collections, while demonstrating the possibilities of truly personalised interior outfitting.

Another memorable occasion during FLIBS was our exclusive drinks reception in collaboration with Maybach Ocean Club, hosted at our Fort Lauderdale showroom.

Bringing together guests from across the luxury yachting and design industries, the afternoon offered an opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting while celebrating a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, innovation and exceptional design.

Throughout the reception, guests were invited to explore the showroom and discover our selection of exquisite tableware, linens and accessories. The event also provided an introduction to Maybach Ocean Club, an exclusive venture bringing Maybach's renowned approach to craftsmanship, design and exclusivity into the world of superyachting.

At the heart of this vision is Beyond Horizons, an extraordinary 508-foot superyacht concept. Presented to guests during the reception, the concept offered a glimpse into an ambitious new interpretation of luxury living at sea.

It was a memorable afternoon, bringing together two brands with a shared passion for individuality, craftsmanship and extraordinary experiences.
